“Everyone has their own special bedtime ritual. For some it’s curling up in bed with a good book. Others prefer a nice long soak in the tub. We think there’s nothing better than a warming cup of tea. And this sweet and delicately floral tisane is all you need to drift off to dreamland. It’s got a calming base of chamomile – a flower renowned for its relaxing properties. Plus a deliciously smooth touch of honey and a lulling dash of rose petals. Calorie-free and dreamy as can be, this is one bedtime sip that’ll definitely have you seeing stars.”

Ingredients: Chamomile, rose petals, cornflower petals, stevia extract, natural and artificial honey flavouring.

Caffeine level: 0 – None.

review-illustratorA honey tea worthy of Pooh Bear! I’ve gotta say, this tea is really pretty. The yellow chamomile, the purple cornflower, the red rose…they look perfect together! I’ve been really hesitant about drinking this one because of how much chamomile is in it, but it’s now just a bit after I’ve woken up, so it shouldn’t make me too tired. I don’t usually write reviews before I go to bed  either, so I haven’t gotten to try this sleepy tea yet. Here goes!

This tea has a strong smell of pure honey! Because it’s flower based, it doesn’t have a strong smell otherwise. Brewing also has a light smell; the honey fades a bit and there’s a bit more of a soft floral smell. The taste is simple, the strongest element being honeyed chamomile. It’s hard to taste the other flowers, but I’m sure they’re lingering there.

I already own straight chamomile tea, so I was hoping for something a bit more from this one, but at the same time I’m glad I purchased it. It’s a very easy all-in-one tea to make, because there’s already the yummy honey in it, so just add a bit of sugar and it’s a perfect chamomile cup before bed.
